PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier capable of allowing a zeolite-based hydrocracking catalyst to have a stable catalyst life and exhibit high cracking activity for a long period of time, the hydrocracking catalyst using the carrier and a method for hydrocracking an aromatic content-containing hydrocarbon oil by using the hydrocracking catalyst. PSOLUTION: The carrier for the catalyst for hydrocracking the hydrocarbon oil includes the modified zeolite which is obtained by incorporating titanium in faujasite zeolite and the modified zeolite satisfies (a) 1-17 mass% titanium content in terms of metal oxide in the modified zeolite, (b) 0.14-0.35 atomic ratio Al/Si of aluminum to silicon in the modified zeolite, (c) 24.36-24.48 lattice constant, (d) 30-95% crystallinity and (e) 500-850 mSP2/SP/g specific surface area. The hydrocracking catalyst using the carrier and the method for hydrocracking the aromatic content-containing hydrocarbon oil by using the hydrocracking catalyst are also provided.
