PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a film on the surface of a decorative member which forms a film of SUS reflecting blue light on the surface of a base material.;SOLUTION: Regarding the method in which a base material 12 made of a synthetic resin and an SUS plate are oppositely arranged at the inside of a reaction chamber, and, while introducing an Ar gas into the reaction chamber, a film of SUS is deposited on the surface of a base material by a sputtering process, while introducing an O2 gas into the reaction chamber together with the Ar gas, a film 14 of SUS having an oxygen atom concentration of 60 to 70% (AES analysis) is deposited on the surface of the base material by a sputtering process. Reflection components 15 reflecting blue light are dispersed into the film, the spectroscopic reflectance spectrum of the film shows strong characteristics in a short wavelength region than a long wavelength region, and, in the case the base material is black, the film shines as bluish silver white with a bright color tone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
