PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve scalability while holding consistency of data. PSOLUTION: In this data distribution update system, a token is circulated among servers which hold a replica. When the token is not held, lock information required for reflecting a data update request from a client is preliminarily held while holding the request. When the token is received, lock information of other servers stored in the token with the held lock information, lock information whose lock does not compete is stored in the token, transmitted to the next server, and after that, the update request is reflected.
