PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a cellulase suitable for being used together with other cellulases, when held on the cell surface of the yeast, and utilize the cellulase. PSOLUTION: There is provided a yeast holding, on the cell surface of the yeast, one or more cellulases selected from the group consisting of cellobiohydrolase Cel 5F and endoglucanase Cel 5C belonging to glucosidase family-5, endoglucanase Cel 8A belonging to glucosidase family-8, endoglucanase Cel 9D, endoglucanase Cel 9R, cellobiohydrolase Cel 9K, and cellobiohydrolase Cbh A belonging to glucosidase family-9, and a combination thereof.
