PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leave an artificial floating island for vegetation underwater after the growth of aquatic plants.;SOLUTION: A vegetation base for the artificial island (2) includes: a frame (11) formed by connecting multiple bamboo tubes or woods to a rectangular or a cube shape composing a lower frame (16) and an upper frame (17); a bamboo or wooden flooring material (12) placed on a plurality of the lower frames (16) which are placed at fixed intervals apart from each other; and a plurality of bamboo pots (14) arranged in parallel on the flooring material (12).
