PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or eliminate the number of man-hours of final work in manufacturing processes of equipment configuration units. PSOLUTION: A reaction force based on a detected manipulated variable of an operating part 2 of an equipment configuration unit 1 is determined on the basis of a simulation model including the relation between the manipulated variable and the reaction force. In correction release mode, a load corresponding to the determined reaction force is provided for an output part 7a, and the relation among an input/output deviation between input to a transmission system α of an operating force and output from the output part 7a; an operating speed of the operating part 2; and its operating acceleration. In correction mode, the reaction force is corrected in such a way that its magnitude may increase by the amount of the input/output deviation corresponding to the determined operating speed and the determined operating acceleration. With a load corresponding to the corrected reaction force provided for the output part 7a, the input/output deviation is adjusted in such a way as to reduce errors in operating characteristics and target operating characteristics of the configuration unit 1.
