PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dried vegetable seed having disease resistance, high germination rate and growth potential and long life.;SOLUTION: The dried vegetable seed having a germination rate of ≥50% even after storage of ≥1 year at normal temperature is produced by optionally enclosing a specimen seed with a moisture-absorbing and/or moisture-permeating porous soft sheet, surrounding the outer circumference of the porous soft sheet with a desiccant and/or a porous material having moisture permeability, hygroscopicity and heat-resistance, and drying the specimen by microwave irradiation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
