PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified phenol resin which makes it possible to harden with no need to blend hexamethylenetetramine separately.;SOLUTION: The modified phenol resin is obtained by allowing a phenol resin to react with hexamethylenetetramine. Since hexamethylenetetramine is added to a phenol skeleton or otherwise to be contained the resin, heating the resin decomposes the hexamethylenetetramine in the molecule, which then act as a hardener, the resin can be hardened without needing the blend of hexamethylenetetramine separately.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
