HANDRAIL BASE AND HANDRAIL SYSTEM FOR TATAMI MAT OF JAPANESE-STYLE ROOM AND THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail member which can support itself even by one support for a handrail in a room with a tatami covered floor, such as a Japanese-style room, which eliminates a step with respect to a floor forming material such a tatami mat, which enables the free setting of both height and width, and which enables a simple change of a handrail attachment position; and to provide a handrail system.;SOLUTION: A user's physical status is checked so that the attachment position and a position to drill a hole in the floor forming member 1 can be determined; a base member 3 and an insert member 5 are separately fixed to the holes in the floor forming member 1; and a post member 4 is coupled and fixed to them. Thus, the handrail member can support itself with strength even by the one support for the handrail. Additionally, the position to drill the hole in the floor forming member 1 is fixed along a definite module, so that the handrail attachment position can be simply changed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
