PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a carbon dioxide sensor which measures carbon dioxide concentration wireless; to perform measurement of the carbon dioxide concentration for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide sensor 10 includes a carbon dioxide concentration measuring element 101, a radio transmission part 102, a power source part 104, an element control part 105, and a radio control part 108. The carbon dioxide concentration measuring element 101 detects and measures indoor carbon dioxide concentration. The radio transmission part 102 transmits the measured carbon dioxide concentration to a data processor by radio communication. The power source part 104 supplies electric power to the carbon dioxide concentration measuring element 101 and to the radio transmission part 102. The element control part 107 controls the power source part 104 to supply the power to the carbon dioxide concentration measuring element 101 at intervals set in advance. The radio control part 108 controls the power source part 104 to supply the power to the radio transmission part 102 at intervals set in advance.
