PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder for an engine capable of enhancing a degree of freedom of shape of a scavenging passage.;SOLUTION: In the cylinder 1 for the engine, since the cylinder includes a cylinder body 6 and scavenging cassettes 10a, 10b and the scavenging passages are formed between the cylinder body and scavenging cassettes 10a, 10b, it is not necessary to form the scavenging passage by preparing a die for molding the scavenging passage and drawing and releasing the die. Thus, in the scavenge cassettes, the restriction of shapes of parts for forming the scavenging passages between the scavenging cassettes, and the cylinder body 6 can be reduced and the degree of freedom of the shape of the scavenging passage can be enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
