PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can set types of voice guides which can be easily used by a beginner and an expert by preparing a plurality of types of voice guides, regarding the voice guide when returning to a selection screen relevant to a high-order hierarchy by an operation for canceling the selection screen. PSOLUTION: The electronic equipment including a display means, a voice information storing means 67, a voice output device 48, an operating means, and a display control means 60 includes; a voice guide setting means 61 for setting whether the voice guidance corresponding to a selection screen is performed when the selection screen performed in accordance with the canceling operation of the operating means is redisplayed; and a voice guide control means 62 for controlling the voice output device 48 on the basis of setting of the voice guide setting means 61.
