PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly analyze the cause of a difference between fuel costs compared.;SOLUTION: A fuel cost comparison device includes: an information storage unit which stores, with respect to fuel consumed by a device, period, fuel cost, unit price of fuel, operation quantity of device, and fuel consumption for the operation quantity in association with each other at predetermined intervals; and a difference information calculation unit which reads the unit price of fuel, operation quantity of device, value of each factor of the fuel consumption for the operation quantity in a period as a reference, and the unit price of fuel, operation quantity of device, and value of each factor of the fuel consumption for the operation quantity in a period to be compared, replaces any value of each factor in the period as a reference by any value of the corresponding factor in the period to be compared to calculate a fuel cost, and calculates a difference from a fuel cost determined with the value before the replacement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
