PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately measuring a dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate present in high concentrations in a sample by a dry chemistry technique, and to provide an inspection instrument to be used therefor.;SOLUTION: The method for measuring a dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate present in a liquid fluid sample, or measuring a specific substance in the sample wherein the substance produces intermediately or finally the dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate by enzymatic reaction, is provided; in this case, the inspection instrument wherein the liquid fluid sample and a reagent are made to react with each other is used. In the method, the inspection instrument has at least a reaction chamber and surfaces adjacent thereto for constructing the reaction chamber; the reagent is deposited on at least part of the surfaces and intended to conduct the enzymatic reaction for measuring the dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate in the liquid fluid sample, or intended to measure the specific substance present in the sample and producing intermediately or finally the dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate by the enzymatic reaction. Specifically, the method comprises the following process: the liquid fluid sample is fed into the reaction chamber and brought into contact with at least the part of the surfaces deposited with the reagent to dissolve the deposited reagent into the sample to mix the reagent with the sample; the enzymatic reaction between the dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate and the reagent is conducted in a liquid state; and the dehydrogenase or the corresponding substrate or the specific substance in the liquid fluid sample is measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
