ELECTRONIC MAIL SYSTEM AND UNSOLICITED MAIL DISCRIMINATING METHOD IN THE ELECTRONIC MAIL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system and an unsolicited mail discriminating method in the electronic mail system, wherein unsolicited mail can be discriminated efficiently without requiring many hardware resources.;SOLUTION: A transmission permission list is set and stored in a mail sender server 13 connected to a first network 100, and further, a reverse DNS (Domain Name System) lookup function is included. Then, when electronic mail is received in a mail receiving server 22 provided in a second network 200, a mail address and a domain name corresponding to an IP address, which becomes a transmission source of the electronic mail, are retrieved by an inquiry to the mail sender server 13, and are compared with a mail address and a domain name of the received electronic mail.
