PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse which constantly excessively expresses esRAGE and is useful for making a diseased model mouse for clarifying the relation of the esRAGE with the disease. PSOLUTION: This C57BL/6 series mouse to whose genome a DNA encoding esRAGE is transferred can excessively express the esRAGE. The C57BL/6 series mouse for excessively expressing the esRAGE can be used to make a diseased model mouse for the disease (for example, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes) in which a ligand bound to RAGE participates.
