PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily identifying the species of the interspecies hybrid of a eucalyptus plant. PSOLUTION: The method for identifying the species of the interspecies hybrid of the eucalyptus plant utilizing a plurality of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) is provided, including: the step of amplifying regions each containing SNP1 to SNP8 with the genomic DNA of the hybrid; the step of determining the sequence of the amplified product and determining each base of SNP1 to SNP8; and the step of specifying the parent species of the hybrid based on a diagram representing the relationship between SNPs and species.
