PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working defect of forging attributable to adhesion of powdery foreign matter such as chips to a blank and a forging die by proposing a technique for exhausting the powdery foreign matter to the outside of the forging die, the powdery foreign matter developed due to forging on the mating faces of a movable die and a fixed die in the forging die.;SOLUTION: The forging die 50 is equipped with the fixed die 9 and the movable die 10 advanceable/retractable to/from the fixed die 9 and is configured to provide a forged product by forging the blank W in forming parts disposed in the mating faces of the dies, wherein the movable die 10 is equipped with a first gas exhausting passage R1 for forcibly exhausting gas to the outside through the inner part of the movable die 10 from the mating face of the movable die 10, and the first gas exhausting passage R1 is equipped with a suction valve which opens in accordance with the advance of the movable die 10 and closes in accordance with the retraction of the movable die 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
