PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation system, for simulating operation of an image forming device with high identification accuracy. PSOLUTION: In each image forming device A-D, a monitoring and analysis module 702 stores time-series data related to an actual control output value between printer control firmware 514 and a printer part P and an input value according to a control result are stored in an HDD unit 512. A PC accesses, for example, the image forming device D and collects time-series data stored in its HDD unit 512. An approximation equation for approximating the collected time-series data is determined, and this equation is incorporated in an image forming device simulator 701 of the PC.
