METHOD FOR MACHINING CAULKING PORTION OF IMPLANTED PART IN TURBINE ROTOR BLADE AND MACHINING APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for machining a caulked portion formed in a circumferential shape on the side surface of a turbine wheel.;SOLUTION: A turbine rotor 30 is mounted and supported on pedestals 32, 34 rotatably in its axial rotation direction. A rotary knife 129 is disposed on a lateral side of a turbine wheel 10. The rotation of the turbine rotor 30 is stopped, and the rotary knife 129 is rotation-driven to move the rotary knife 129 in a tangential direction of a caulked portion 12a parallelly to a surface of the turbine wheel 10 and to machine the caulked portion 12a. After the completion of one cycle of machining, the turbine rotor 30 is rotated by a predetermined amount, followed by machining in the same manner.
