PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticide for Spodoptera litura which can further improve the insect killing effect against Spodoptera litura.;SOLUTION: The insecticide for Spodoptera litura uses a Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus and etoxazole as active ingredients. The Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus is used as a diluted solution diluted with a surfactant, and etoxazole is used as a diluted solution diluted with an aqueous solvent and a surfactant. The concentration of the Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus in the diluted solution of the Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus is preferably 10³ to 10⁷ pieces/ml, and the dilution magnification of the diluted solution of etoxazole is preferably 10,000 to 100,000 times.
