PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel female member improving strength of a locking member, and reducing size in a radial direction while preventing hitting of contact faces between moving members.;SOLUTION: The female member includes the locking member 40 movable in a housing 27, the locking member can move between a first position wherein a locking pawl is projected from the housing and engaged with a groove part 16 in end of a male member and a second position wherein the locking pawl is disengaged from the groove part, and a control ring 30 is provided, moving the locking pawl between the first position and the second position. The locking member has at least one surface part 42, 43 having a shape forming one part of a sphere, and movement of the locking member between the first position and the second position is carried out by pivoting around a pivot passing through a center C40 of curvature of the surface part and perpendicular to a shaft axis XA-X'A of the female member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
