PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy tube suitable for producing a member required to have a specific shape while securing necessary strength, such as an automobile structural member, by hot working.;SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy tube has an alloy composition comprising, by mass, 2.5-2.8% Mg, ≤0.25% Si, ≤0.35% Fe and 0.25-0.35% Cr, and the balance being inevitable impurities and Al.
