PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To high efficiently detect a position and an attitude of a container or a container conveyer.;SOLUTION: This system is formed by a three-dimensional laser sensor 1 constituted by a laser range finder 9, a plane mirror 10 supported by crossing two axes, motors 11, 12 rotating the axes, and encoders 13, 14 detecting a rotational angle of the axis, a sensor controller 7 controlling the motor, and a data processing part 8 obtaining a three-dimensional data of an object from a distance data c input from the laser range finder and rotational angle data d, e input from the encoder and calculating an edge of the object and its position of the center of gravity by the three-dimensional data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
