PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount for an insertion light source, which prevents a discontinuous change of a distance between an upper beam and a lower beam. PSOLUTION: The mount for the insertion light source includes an upper magnet array and a lower magnet array oppositely arranged through a gap, and generates synchrotron light by meandering an electron beam incident between the upper magnet array and the lower magnet array. The mount includes the upper beam for supporting the upper magnet array, the lower beam for supporting the lower magnet array, a first moving mechanism for vertically moving the upper beam with respect to the lower beam, and a second moving mechanism for vertically moving the lower beam. The first moving mechanism is structured so that force applied on the upper beam is transmitted to the lower beam. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
