PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a Braille part while suppressing a load of a processor even from such a Braille point plane in which Braille points and characters are overlapped.;SOLUTION: This device for recognizing Braille points has a first irradiation part 102 which irradiates the Braille plane 10 on which the Braille points are formed with light, a second irradiation part 103 which irradiates the Braille plane 10 with light with wavelength different from that of the first irradiation part 102, an imaging part 104 which images the Braille point plane 10 irradiated with light by the first irradiation part 102 and the second irradiation part 103 and outputs a video signal of the Braille point plane 10 and a Braille recognition part 107 which recognizes the Braille points by recognizing irradiated areas only of the first irradiation part 102 and irradiation areas only by the second irradiation part 103 at least on the Braille point plane 10 from the video signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
