PSOLUTION: This electrolytic solution for an electrochemical element containing an electrolyte (B) containing an imidazolium salt (A) represented by a specific formula, and a chain sulfone (C) represented by a specific formula is used. The imidazolium salt (A) contains halogen atoms, a univalent hydrocarbon group having at least one of group selected from a hydroxyl group, a nitro group, a cyano group and a group having an ether bond, or hydrogen.
