PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible both rapid and reliable disaster recovery and efficient security measures for a mission-critical computer system. PSOLUTION: A system 10 for facilitating measures against a disaster comprises: a first disk control unit 100 including a means 110 for encoding write data from a host device by an encoding processor 108 for writing processing, a means 111 for remotely copying storage data to a second disk control unit 200 for each prescribed time, and a means 112 for remotely copying a data write log to the second disk control unit 200 for each time when the log is generated; and a second disk control unit 200 including a means 210 for storing the storage data and a data write log obtained by the remote copy in a storage, a means 211 for receiving a substitution corresponding instruction, applying the data write log to the storage data, and recovering the storage data to a state at the acquisition of the data write log, and a means 212 for encoding write data from the host device by an encoding processor and writing it to the storage data after recovery.
