PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image retouching method, an image retouching device, and an image retouching program capable of reducing a response time for displaying a preview in response to input of a retouching operation value for performing accurate retouching by simple processing. PSOLUTION: In this image retouching method, RAW data stored in a storage medium are acquired, and an intermediate image is generated from the RAW data by using demosaicing processing. The retouching operation value is set in accordance with setting operation after generation of the intermediate image, and a preview image for display is generated from the intermediate image by using backward correction processing on color balance according to a color balance operation value when the color balance operation value serving as the retouching operation value is set. A final image is generated from the RAW data by using color balance forward correction processing in accordance with the color balance operation value and demosaicing processing after the forward correction processing of the color balance when an execution request is made after the setting operation.
