PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the kinds and amounts of meals which are taken by a person every day highly precisely for treatment of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anorexia/bulimia, or the like and health care.;SOLUTION: A measurement/evaluation dish 1 is used for analyzing dietary intake amount by image and has measurement/evaluation patterns (2 and 4) on the inside surface, the pattern facilitates discrimination of the depth of the dish and/or distortion of the pattern in an image obtained by shooting the dish from diagonally above at an arbitrary angle. An measurement/evaluation mat member is used for the measurement/evaluation by the image analysis of the dietary intake amount and put under the dish, the surface of the mat member has a square pattern having a predetermined size in a region on which the dish is put, and the square pattern facilitates measurement of the volume of the content of the dish in the image obtained by shooting the dish from diagonally above at an arbitrary angle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
