PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone apparatus capable of improving the communication quality of facsimile, without having to add a special control to a communication partner, regardless of the communication partner. PSOLUTION: The IP telephone apparatus (1) includes a jitter buffer (13) for equalizing irregular packet intervals in voice data packet reception of IP phone, and has a control means (jitter buffer control part 17) for controlling the jitter buffer (13), in synchronism with the transmission timing of facsimile communication procedures.
