Describes a method for nuclear magnetic resonance modulus measurement (MRE), MRE inversion to take into account the wave propagating in a finite finite medium is used. Oscillatory motion is induced in a subject, MRE is performed in order to measure one or more of the resulting displacement component produced in the subject. The displacement data thereafter filtering to provide a more accurate and computationally efficient inversion method. And wave equation is used which is based on the shape of the finite medium, to calculate the physical properties of the object. Such method has the advantage that more accurate results can be obtained, it is possible to obtain the heart, eyes, the MRE performance for tissues such as the bladder and prostate.
