The reciprocative motion means 36 has a sun shaft 43, a sun gear 42 concentric with the sun shaft 43, a gear case 47 that is mounted on the sun shaft 43 and supports an idler gear 44 and a planetary gear 45, and a rotary arm 48 that connects a planetary shaft 46 to the claw spindle 61 of the seedling claw bed 33. The center-to-center dimension K1, from the planetary gear 45 to the sun gear 42, is made different from the center-to-center dimension K2, from the planetary gear 45 to the claw spindle 61.
