PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fatigue strength of a fillet welding joint by making use of the transformation expansion of weld metal whose transformation temperature is higher than that of a conventional one.;SOLUTION: The fillet welding joint with high fatigue strength is characterized in that, in the fillet welding joint in which at least one steel sheet is 1-4 mm thick, (a) the martensitic volume % of the weld metal is 50% or above and (b) the angle of the weld toe formed on the steel sheet surface is 110-150°.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
