PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: though a conventional bio-ceramic can perform beta-TCP autogenous bone replacement, it is inferior in mechanical strength and fragile similar to HAp as a single substance, those problem are desired to be solved; and in a bioresorbable material such as beta-TCP, because its crystal structure and a degree of crystallinity (crystal defect, particle size, etc.) influence on initial strength and absorption velocity, crystal structure, etc., are required to be studied at first to control initial strength and absorption velocity.;SOLUTION: The bio-ceramic comprising β type tricalcium phosphate is produced by substitution and solid solution of the phosphoric acid site of β type tricalcium phosphate with vanadic acid ion (VO43-).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
