PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for preparing and injecting an emulsion which enables preparing and injecting an emulsion stably for a long period in injecting an emulsion of fine particles of liquid carbon dioxide and water into gaps of the strata in order to hydrate carbon dioxide for fixation.;SOLUTION: A container 2 of a sealed structure is divided with a member 3 containing a porous material 3a at least partially so as to form a water supply area 2a, an emulsion discharge area 2c and a liquid carbon dioxide supply area 2b. The emulsion discharge area 2c has a discharge portion 7. The porous material 3a is provided at least in a part of a passage 4. Liquid carbon dioxide is supplied from the first supply portion 5 to the liquid carbon dioxide supply area 2b, and water is supplied from the second supply portion 6 to the water supply area 2a to force the liquid carbon dioxide, through the porous material 3a, into water flowing through the passage 4 so as to atomize and disperse. The emulsion is supplied from the passage 4 toward the emulsion discharge area 2c and discharged from the discharge portion 7 into gaps of the strata.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
