PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for a blower with its space efficiency made better in transportation. SOLUTION: The impeller 113 of the multi-vane blower is furnished with a main plate 131, a plurality of vanes 133, and a side plate 132. The main plate 131 is circular and rotates round a rotary shaft, while the vanes 133 are arranged in a ring form centering on the rotary shaft and their one-side ends are fixed to the periphery of the main plate 131, and the side plate 132 consists of a ring-shaped member having an inside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the main plate 131. The side plate 132 ties the peripheral edges at the farther ends of the vanes 133. Each inter-vane part of the main plate 131 (part positioned between vanes 133) is cut out larger than the outside dimensions of the vane 133.
