PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that the decomposition of conventional biodegradable material progresses by microorganisms in soil, and while using the biodegradable material in the soil, the biodegradation of the material progresses gradually by making a contact with the microorganisms in the soil and the strength of the material deteriorates. PSOLUTION: By graft-polymerizing a carboxylic vinyl ester with the biodegradable material, it is possible to decrease or lose the biodegradability.
