PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering biodegradability of a biodegradable polymer after its use, improving the defect of the conventional biodegradable material that strengths of the material deteriorate since decomposition proceeds by subterranean microorganisms when it is buried in the soil or since biodegradation gradually proceeds in the case where the biodegradable material in use comes into contact with subterranean microorganisms. PSOLUTION: By grafting a hydrophilic monomer into a biodegradable material by graft polymerization, the biodegradability can be decreased or lost.
