PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrafine fiber production apparatus by greatly decreasing cooling rate of a molten resin material ejected from a nozzle to largely decrease the rate of the increasing viscosity of the molten resin material, thereby capable of producing an ultrafine fiber with further smaller diameter.;SOLUTION: The ultrafine fiber production apparatus 1 includes an extruder 20 extruding a molten resin material, a spinning portion 40 having plural metallic spinning nozzles for ejecting the molten resin material extruded from the extruder 20 to produce the ultrafine fiber and high temperature air flow paths formed around each of the plural metallic spinning nozzles and making a high temperature air flow in a direction along the ejecting direction of the molten resin material, a collector electrodes 60 positioned in the ejecting direction for the molten resin material from the spinning portion 40, a high voltage power source 61 applying high voltage between the plural metallic spinning nozzles and the collector electrodes, a high temperature air flow supplying portion 50 supplying a high temperature air flow to the high temperature air flow paths, and an ultrafine fiber recovering device 80 recovering the produced ultrafine fiber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
