PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve unit with excellent general applicability, which suppresses the outflow of air bubbles to a liquid jet head, and a liquid jet apparatus equipped with the valve unit.;SOLUTION: The valve unit 11 is provided with a fourth guide channel 64 with a first inclination angle θ1, so that the air bubbles 171, remaining in the guide channel 64 when the valve unit 11 is set in a horizontal attitude, can recede into a downstream-side pressure chamber. The guide channel 64 is separated from the air bubbles 171 in the downstream-side pressure chamber by a second inclination angle, when the valve unit 11 is brought into an inclined attitude. The valve unit 11 can suppress the outflow of the air bubbles 171 to a recording head 135 even in either of the horizontal and inclined attitudes, and can enhance the reliability of a printer by preventing a lack of a dot or the like. In other words, the valve unit 11 can adapt to both the attitudes and make the general applicability better than a conventional valve unit.
