PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relative inexpensive horse race information transmitting/receiving system allowing many people to efficiently and readily acquire horse race information, and a horse race information receiver and program to be used for the same. PSOLUTION: The horse race information transmitting/receiving system 10 comprises a broadcasting device 12 and personal digital assistants 14. The personal digital assistants 14 each includes a mobile game machine 16 and a cartridge 18 and a pager unit 20 connected thereto. Horse race information including racing program entry information and odds information is broadcast by the broadcasting device 12 and the horse race information is received and decoded by the pager unit 20 and input to the mobile game machine 16. The mobile game machine 16 displays racing program entry and odds data on a LCD 22 thereof in accordance with the horse race information. Herein, a user should register himself in a password management server 32 through a POS terminal 36 installed in a convenience store, e.g., and receive a password.
