PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor device having high relative position accuracy between mutual magnetic sensor elements even when a plurality of magnetic sensor elements are arranged at prescribed clearances, a method of manufacturing the magnetic sensor device, and a paper sheet discrimination device.;SOLUTION: In a process of manufacturing the magnetic sensor device, first of all, in the first step, the base material 4 of a core body is fixed to the side of a connection plate 5. Then, in the second step of the process of manufacturing the magnetic sensor device, clearances 16, 17 and a clearance 18 are formed in the base material 4 fixed to the connection plate 5. An excitation coil 12 for pattern detection and a coil 15 for differential detection are mounted on each of a plurality of core bodies 11 constituted in the second process, to thereby acquire the plurality of magnetic sensor elements fixed to the connection plate 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
