PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for estimating an eye direction which can trace eyes in real time on the basis of image information photographed by one camera. PSOLUTION: A device for detecting eye direction comprises: a step (S204) of calculating the center position of ires by sampling the ires, in a target image area photographed by the camera; a step (S206) of detecting projecting positions of a plurality of reference points in the target image area and estimating the projecting position for the center of human eyeballs, on the basis of the projecting positions of the reference points in a plurality of correction images; and a step (S208) of estimating the eyes, on the basis of the sampled center position of ires and the projected position of the estimated center of eyeballs.
