PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech translation system that selects an appropriate processing result and a proper device. PSOLUTION: An appropriate processing result and a proper device can be selected by a controller. The controller is configured to: receive speech recognition processing results having speech recognition results and speech recognition scores, from two or more speech recognition devices; select the most appropriate speech recognition results by using the speech recognition scores; transmit the selected speech recognition results to two or more translation devices; receive translation processing results having the translation results of the speech recognition results and translation scores, from the two or more translation devices; select the most appropriate translation results by using the translation scores; transmit the selected translation results to two or more speech synthesizers respectively; receive speech synthesis processing results having speech synthesis results and speech synthesis scores, from the two or more speech synthesizers; selects the speech synthesis results by using the speech synthesis scores; and transmit the selected speech synthesis results to a second terminal device.
