PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing system for going to and leaving school capable of surely managing student's school attending and leaving status. PSOLUTION: The system for going to and leaving school makes students carry a portable terminal with a wireless tag and position information acquisition function; acquires the current position of a portable terminal carried by a student under management by means of a wireless tag and who is yet to arrive at school; and determines an abnormal arrival status after ascertaining that the current position of the wireless tag is not in a school. As a result, even when the student forgets to have the wireless tag read upon arrival at school, the system can surely manage the student's attending and leaving status, without wrongly determining the abnormal arrival status, contrary to the student's actual arrival and departure status.
