PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper coating latex, a method for manufacturing the same, and a paper coating liquid containing the same.;SOLUTION: The paper coating latex has a core and shell structure, the core is formed by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising 5-35 pts.wt. of ethylene unsaturated acid based on 100 pts.wt. of the core and the shell has a glass transition temperature up to room temperature, and lower than that of the core. A method for manufacturing the same and the paper coating liquid containing the same are also provided. The present invention has an effect of providing a high quality matte coated paper that has excellent printability such as ink drying rate, adhesion, etc., as well as low white paper gloss and improved print gloss by coating the paper coating liquid containing multilayered structure paper coating latex having high swelling and contraction properties on a paper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
