PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording medium with which a colored display image is formed by reversing and discoloring two-tone polar spherical particles encapsulated in a pair of non-electrode panels under dielectric polarization, and to provide an image forming device which displays a desired image by using the image recording medium.;SOLUTION: The pair of non-electrode panel plates (20, 21) facing each other and composed of a non-conductive body being at least dielectric members, the panel plate (20) on the image display side is a transparent dielectric member, the two-tone spherical particles (1-10) capsuled in the panel plates with at least equivalent dielectric constants are the bipolar spherical particles with mutually different (±) charge polarities, and the two-tone bipolar spherical particles (1-10) being the display medium capsuled in the non-electrode panel plates (20/21) and laid under a virtual electric field in displaying the image are the image recording mediumm to display the desired colored image by being reverse polaritied under dielectric polarization.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
