PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube joint made of an aluminum alloy which has high strength, therefore can deal with the further miniaturization, thinning and increase in performance of a heat exchanger made of aluminum, and further combines excellent machinability and pitting corrosion resistance.;SOLUTION: The joint consists of an aluminum alloy having a composition containing, by weight, 4.5 to 5.0% Zn, 0.25 to 0.35% Mg, 0.9 to 1.1% Mn, 0.3 to 0.4% Si, 0.15 to 0.25% Cu, 0.2 to 0.4% Fe, 0.005 to 0.03% Ga and ≤0.05% Cr, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
