PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous heat-treatment apparatus for metallic wire rod by which a long metallic wire rod composed of an active metal such as titanium and the alloy thereof can continuously and surely be heat-treated under inactive atmosphere without causing rubbing flaw, scratching flaw or the like on the surface.;SOLUTION: The continuous heat-treatment apparatus 1 for metallic wire rod comprises: a heat-treatment furnace 2 for heat-treating the metallic wire rods w1, w2 continuously supplied along the axial direction of a pipe 6 under inactive atmosphere in the pipe 6 passing through the center part; and a vibrating means disposed just before the inlet 7 of the pipe 6 in the heat-treatment furnace 2 and vibrating the metallic wire rod w1 continuously supplied along the direction crossed at almost orthogonal to the feeding direction, for example, along the upper and lower direction.
